Spring time is finally here and you know what that means! Wedding season is here! I think my favorite part about wedding season is picking out my outfit. From the gorgeous tulle dresses with rhinestones and embroideries, to the fabulous heel options that will kill my feet but look amazing, down to the stunning baubles and jewels that complement my look, it makes me feel and look like the Disney princess I was born to be. Well, maybe not, but once my ensemble is complete, man do I look glamorous, if I do say so myself.
The dress I styled for this post was found on ASOS, which I never knew had such an amazing and wide selection of stunning formal dresses and cocktail dresses! This dress by Dolly & Delicious is a blush pink hue and features a plunging neckline with a cage front with velvet fabric cage lines. Itās decorated with sewn on silver sequins, beads and rhinestones which glisten when the light catches the sparkle. The straps are adjustable to your liking and the back features a zipper with a hook and eye closure. The bottom of the dress is a mesh/tulle overlay, also with sewn on silver sequins, beads and rhinestones. This dress is fully lined underneath the tulle overlay so you can spin around without any worry that your undies will show!
I styled this dress with an amazing Stella McCartney wallet clutch look for less. I found this chelsea28 faux leather wallet on a chain clutch at Nordstrom and itās only $49! I needed to have the silver colorway, although they do offer this clutch in 4 colorways and theyāre all equally beautiful. The silver is almost a faded metallic silver color trimmed with a silver chain all around the bag, just like a Stella! I love that this bag can easily be made into a crossbody giving a more casual look or it can be worn dressed up as a clutch in itself. Itās just so beautiful and such a steal!
For wedding season, I highly recommend investing in a comfortable, yet chic pair of heels. You want to make sure you can not only walk in your heels, but can dance in them, too! The worst feeling in the world is the loss of feeling in your feet from uncomfortable shoes, but we all know, beauty is pain! Well, these particular heels that I styled my dress with are surprisingly extremely comfortable. I wore these Sam Edelman sandal heels for 8 hours straight. I was able to danced in them, comfortably, and keep them on for the entire wedding I wore them to. Now, that is rare! These heels come in a bunch of different colorways, but I felt that the nude was a basic staple for any wedding guest dress, or even to wear with ripped jeans and a cool graphic tee.
Lastly, the jewels! I have been loving Kendra Scottās new spring collection, so I decided to pair these iridescent shimmering fringe statement earrings. I actually loved these earrings so much I got them in 2 out of the 3 colorways! For this look, I opted for the gold/ivory mix as I felt it didnāt steal the spotlight of my stunning, sparkly dress, but added just the right amount of playfulness to my look. Since I decided to go with a bold, playful earring, I didnāt want to over do the jewels, so I opted for this delicate, gold with ivory in mother of pearl pendant classic necklace by Kendra Scott.
