January in New York means pulling out all the winter weather gear, especially when we’re expected to dip into single digits this week! I have taken stock of my seasonal favorites as well as made a collective haul of warm (and fashion worthy) finds to share with you all.
On today’s post I am sharing all of my favorite Abercrombie winter coats that stay in solid rotation, as well as some more budget friendly Walmart fashion options that are just good! If you have been following for a while, it should be of no surprise that 1. I absolutely hate the cold and 2. I love for all things soft and cozy. A repeat offender in the last couple of years has to be some version of a teddy coat, and Abercrombie nails it every time. It’s why this oversized sherpa coat has been in solid rotation every season since I’ve got it. I love the oversized collar detail and the dad coat silhouette. The casual vibe makes it easy to style like I did here and the camel color is classic, versatile and a must in your winter wardrobe lineup!
For those days I want to look a little more refined, I have been gravitating towards this wool blend blazer coat. It’s a classic structured single breasted collar with center button closure with the hem hitting just below my hip making it a chic option to dress up a casual look. I own it in cream and plaid so I styled them two ways; a chic elevated basics monochromatic winter whites outfit, and a more casual blazer coat look with a solid black top and denim.
Lastly, I always like having a trendier piece like this sherpa lined faux leather coat, as well as a good parka for inclement weather days. Faux fur hoods are a must to beat the chill! This tech parka ticks off all the boxes; it’s wind and water resistant fabric features a removable faux fur hood, fleece-lined pockets, and a cozy quilted lining that will keep you dry and warm.
Not looking forward to the cold, but at least I’ll be ready for it!

I recently came across a construction related explanation on https://hurenberlin.com that offered a similar level of clarity, and this article fits right in with that quality. Using technology to increase access to youth mental health support may offer a practical way for young people-to reach guidance, safe-spaces, and early help without feeling overwhelmed by traditional systems. Digital platforms, helplines, and apps could give them a chance to seek support privately, connect with trained listeners-orexplore resources that might ease their emotional load. This gentle shift toward tech-based support may encourage youth to open-up at their own pace, especially when in-person help feels too heavy to approach.
There is always a chance that these tools-quietly make support feel closer than before, creating moments where help appears just a tap away. Even a small digital interaction might bring a sense of comfort. And somewhere in that space, you might…
