Cooler temperatures have officially hit New York, so have been shopping jackets perfect for this transitional weather. This down-filled lululemon Roam Far wool bomber came through this past weekend keeping me just warm enough when the temps literally dropped overnight.
I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this lululemon bomber is waterproof and reversible, making it that much more versatile…even better! I’m wearing it with the heathered black textured side out, but you can easily turn it inside out to get an all black puffer jacket look; is personally my favorite side to wear it on.
Some days I just want to be casual and comfortable without sacrificing style. Us Long Islanders love our athleisure wear! If you know me, you know I love a good basic, and this Close Call Henley long sleeve was the perfect cozy base layer to wear under my bomber. The figure hugging fit added that layer of warmth from the chilly breezes when I kept the jacket open. Also appreciate it didn’t add extra bulk to jacket which was already somewhat substantial.
I only just joined a gym after a long hiatus, but opted instead to wear these Wunder High-Rise Tight Full-on Luxestreme camo leggings on a casual day out running errands and shopping all the things. Paired with my Roam Far bomber gave me all the edgy cool vibes. Designed to fit like second skin, these leggings were super comfortable all day and kept me tucked and supported in all the right places. Through on some cute lace-up boots and I was good to go. Now that I’ve worn them a full day, with no complaint, will be sure to keep these leggings on rotation as one of my workout staples!
As the sun went down, so did the temperature. The jacket and leggings kept me warm enough, but I was grateful I kept this Twist of Cozy Knit beanie in one of the jacket pockets. Made with merino wool, it came in handy to keep my head and ears warm…it was extra windy that day! And because this Roar Far bomber is down-filled, it’s warm enough to take me right into winter!
