🍂 Fall Sneaker Trends to Watch (and What’s in My Closet Right Now)
Fall has officially arrived, and if there’s one thing I love about this season—beyond the cozy knits and all the season-worthy lattes—it’s sneaker weather. This year, sneakers are stealing the spotlight more than ever, with designers and street style stars leaning into bold textures, unexpected prints, and retro silhouettes that make your footwear the outfit’s headline rather than the afterthought.
First up: the adidas Samba snakeskin. Chic, sleek, and just the right amount of sass. They’ve already become my “elevated neutral” when I want my sneakers to do the talking. And because I can’t ever do subtle all the way, I also grabbed the adidas Samba cow print with the long tongue—they are SO cheeky and fun, I swear every time I wear them someone stops me to ask about them.
Obviously, I had to refresh my classics. The Nike Air Force 1s are back in rotation because, honestly, nothing pairs better with oversized denim and an even more oversized chunky sweater. And for a little throwback, I scooped the Nike Air Max 95. They’re sporty but somehow feel fashion-forward again this year—think cool girl street style without trying too hard.
Now here’s where it gets spicy: the Puma Speedcats in black suede (sleek, chic, low-profile perfection) and in cow print (because apparently I’m in a cow print phase and I’m not mad about it). The silhouette is so different from everything else in my closet, and they make me feel like I’m leaning into this subtle motorsport vibe that’s about to blow up.
Then there’s my “everyday chic” picks: the Nike Air Max Excee (comfy and casual) and the Nike Zoom Vomero 5—which, by the way, look like you could run errands in them all day and still end up at a coffee date without feeling underdressed.
And last but not least… my wild card: the New Balance Fresh Foam X Cruz in leopard. Honestly? Obsessed. They’re cozy with just enough leopard print to keep them feeling neutral, and easily my grab-n-go option for an all neutral look.
So here’s the vibe this fall: don’t let your sneakers just finish your outfit. Let them be the outfit. 🤎👟
